olivers place / 163 prs by moxon architects

north west england gained a new interesting office building. the moxon studio made an outstanding facade. a glass wall hiding behind a maze of paralel aluminium fins. the optical effects come alive when the viewer is passing by but that`s not the main purpose of the hybrid hedgehog. it gives a good protection against rain and sun. the plan was submitted and won on riba competition in 2007 and in autumn 2008 was submitted for planning approval. well worth checking the moxon architects other projects.
