the bass music championing rinse.fm becomes 18 in days. they have gone a long way from the early pirate days til airing as a legal station and as part of the celebration two heavyweight artists drop the bass at the mixmag studio. j:kenzo starts out with fresh weighty levitation at its best, just like on his debut album, which was released this week. then oneman continues with housey and funky vibes, who toured the globe without releasing a single tune. a great proof of classic dj skills, which is a very rare example on a scene filled with producer djs, who lack of real selector instincts and techiques. props to the rinse family and mixmag.
