mala+sgt pokes @ sziget festival 2009

i`ve just come back from sziget festival where almost 400.000 people have attended in a few days last year. this year i played three times at sziget including two at my beloved meduza stage ( which is the best imo) with a capacity for 2000+. i`m sure much more people have heard the sets. on the first day we had mala and pokes. here is a facebook vid of my set and you can find loads of mala`s.

the next day i played with several djs from pecs representing the city as the cultural capital of europe 2010. i had chance to organise it with filling up the 8 hrs long line up and taking care of everyone. honestly last year it was better to organise wedge/komonazmuk/jakes and skream/benga/crazy d were also wicked in 2007. seems like the festival season is finished for me and i`ll come back with loads of updates after finishing a few works.

partyzoo artfoto competition

the story begins when the owner of partyzoo asked me to contribute on his site with a serie of shots on his brand new contest. when he called me a half year later i uploaded a new serie named urbanism i just took in pecs extreme park. it`s been about 15 months ago. now someone sent me a note i won the 2nd place on the competition :) hah! they have already the awards night but no one got invited heheh. anyway, it wasn`t a huge competition as i didn`t take it serious (just sent them for fun) but i`m still quite happy as two good photographers were the jury. look the rest of the photos or the winners. honestly its funny to call it artfoto competition but i`m used to moves like this from that site... :D

a5 magazine portrait issue

i got a request to participate for the next issue of israel`s A5 magazine. today they said i didn`t make it :) well, i`m not downset as i`m not a real photographer and i was pretty happy by the request itself! maybe next time i`ll go with a graphic or will have more luck with the actual theme... :) i`ll keep you informed when its released anyway...

it was awesome playing for about 2000-2500 bassheads in sziget festival. never thought that we`ll have such a mental crowd. after my set the dynamic duo came, rewound the last tune and smashed the place. here is a shot of the peeps filling the circular arena and a few vids of the show. hopefully i`ll put online my 2,5 hrs set someday...
