carsten nikolai aka alva noto is one of the key figures in postmodern electronica, not to mention the iconic raster.noton label he created. his recent album landed in the summer was another fine long player with the pianist ryuichi sakamoto and was named summvs but the next solo album is already in the pipeline. univrs by alva noto will be dropped in october and beside his own production he is busy with raising the catalogue numbers of raster.noton. read the usual short interview at resident advisor while listening to his trip to experimental techno and further to noise and minimal. the audio download at ra is available for a limited time.
