mouse on mars is not from our red brother but from the ruhr area, germany and they are doing electronica. the cologne based duo has a solid reputation with vast amount of releases on sonig, dominno, too pure, ipecac, thrill jockey, rough trade and they are preparing their new album coming out soon on modeselector's monkeytown. you can listen the preview here. but first, watch this interview about their method of making music. they say they are not technical, don't believe them. the video is kickin with  philosophy and musical approach. on the techy side there is the iphone app developed for them, their fav vsti instruments and machines. all in all two wicked studio heads sitting on huge digital and analog studio setup and i have to rethink if they haven't come from mars.
